Short on time? Take a trail ride by the hour. We look forward to taking you and your family or friends on a trail ride through the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Many guests enjoy a one-hour trail ride in the wide open spaces of Rancho Cortez. You'll be matched with just the right horse and receive a personal saddle check before we set off. Your group will also have its own personal wrangler guiding the way.
Let us know if you have more time -- we'll be delighted to set up longer trail rides! If you have two hours or more, you can expore even more gorgeous surroundings.
Trail rides are also available in the Hill Country State Natural Area bordering the ranch. Have a great time in this play area of approximately 5,500 acres of natural beauty! Rides in this state park are two hours minimum and include a $5 park fee.
Don't forget to bring your camera for great photos of the countryside and possibly, some wildlife! We'll also be glad to arrange photo opportunities of your group.

Hourly rate for Ranch rides: $35.00 per person
Hourly rate for State Park rides: $45.00 per person plus $5 state park fee. Two-hour minimum.
